Small Business Saturday Q-C Style

Small Business Saturday encourages people to support small, local businesses as you go about your holiday shopping. They don’t have the millions of dollars to run national ad campaigns encouraging you to be there at 4 a.m. for a ginormus TV.  And maybe you do need a ginormous TV this year, but don’t forget small businesses have some really great stuff too!

Here are some places in the Quad Cities to shop!

The District will be giving out $2,500 in “District Dollars” to shoppers on Small Business Saturday in downtown Rock Island, that will be able to be used at participating downtown businesses during the month of December.

November 26 is Small Business Saturday, and we want you to go on That Dam Shopping Trip! Join ten downtown Rock Island and Davenport businesses offering great gift ideas, sales, great customer service and a chance to win $1,000 in gift certificates! NEW this year, downtown restaurants are getting in on the fun and offering specials for your lunch and dinner while you are shopping small!

Shop Small in LeClaire on November 26 and tag your photos with #LeClaireShopSmall and #VisitLeClaire outside the participating businesses! Participating businesses are 129, Antique Archaeology, Aunt Hattie’s, Bela, First Central State Bank, Green Tree Brewery, Isabel Bloom, LeClaire Olive Oil Co., Rock Elm Design, and Wide River Winery.

15 stores and restaurants in the Hilltop Campus Village in Davenport all kinds of exclusive deals going on Small Business Saturday!

Downtown Davenport has several places ready with specials for Small Business Saturday.

Oh So Sweet by Tiphanie is giving away FREE cookie gift certificates with every $10+ purchase. There’s going to be a special guest appearance by Mr. and Mrs. Claus!
Me & Billy will have the The Crepe Guy serving up some delicious breakfast with endless mimosas! Per usual, fishbowls will be on special for $20, too.
Salon Lucé is offering 20% off all retail and an additional 10% off retail with any appointment that day!
Quad Cities Food Hub has new holiday items and gift baskets! Stop in and get 20% off the whole store!
