Kid’s Yoga Stories at Bettendorf Library

Image result for yoga kids readingIt’s no secret that a little meditation and focus on something than your phone is an important part of staying healthy. But as adults, we know all that — whether we follow the advice or not.

But what about our kids?

As parents, aunts, uncles, nannies, grandparents, it’s up to us to get our young children to stay active, healthy, and turn off the television screens for a while.

Bettendorf Library is on top of this movement with a Yoga and Stories class on Wednesday evenings. Yoga and Stories is aimed at children 3 years of age to 10 years old. The certified yoga instructors read some of your children’s favorite storybooks, complete with a yoga pose for a little more focus and meditation for our youth.

Parents are welcomed at every session. Yoga and Stories takes place on Thursday evenings from 6:30PM to 7:00PM at the Bettendorf Public Library, located at 2950 Learning Campus Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722.
