Labor Day Parades 2017

Labor Day Weekend in the Quad Cities is always filled with fun festivities, picnics, last minute pool splashes and (hopefully) great weather. But, of course, none of it would be complete without the annual parades in Rock Island and East Moline.

The Rock Island Labor Day Parade is in its 33rd annual year, and kicks off at 9:30AM near Washington Jr. High, around at 18th Avenue and 33rd Street. The special parade has added a resounding theme this year (SING!) to showcase local talent and musicians. With a city full of musical life, it’s a perfect fit for the Quad Cities Labor Day Weekend.

The East Moline Labor Day Parade kicks off at 11 AM on 15th Avenue, planning to make a big statement about working families and a fair economy for all. Don’t miss out on this patriotic parade!

Grab the kids and come on down. Both parades are sights to see, and worth the time.
