Rockin’ Rock Island Artists’ Market 2019

You don’t want to miss the 2019 Rock Island Artists’ Market.

“The artists’ market is community at its best. It’s a venue for local artists and vendors to share their work and it’s in Rock Island. There are jewelry vendors, snacks, produce vendors, clothing, accessories, pottery. You could find a gift for any friend or family member, something beautiful for yourself and produce for lunch or dinner that night. I love how friendly and excited everyone is at these events and Brandy VandeWalle is amazing, organized and a joy to be around,” shares Sarah McCoy, Rock Island resident.

Buy something: There are dozens of artists and makers showcasing their talents and offering items for sale.

Hear something: Live music by Roger Carlson and Mix 96 with a LIVE Remote.

Create something
: Become a maker in the  children’s art tent.

Taste something
: Food and beverages (including beer!) will be available from Kavanaugh’s Hilltop Bar & Grill and the Cool Beanz Coffee Coach.
Susan Krutsinger is one of many artists. She’s bringing new pourings, trivets, coasters, refrigerator magnets, and more.

Brandy VandeWalle, owner of Skeleton Key Art and Antiques, is really excited about the market for 2019:  “I host a lot of events every year, but the Rock Island Artists’ Market is very near and dear to my heart. It is such a great group of artists and makers, and I look forward to it all year long. I always kind of feel like it’s ‘the little market that could.’ We keep chugging away, expanding and adding more to the lineup every year, and I love the direction we’re heading.”

Whether you head by after church or on a weekend bike ride, make The Rock Island Artists’ Market part of  your second Sunday plans!
