During the holiday season, the Quad Cities has many performances to get you into the holiday spirit. From theatre productions, The Nutcracker, and concerts, you won’t want to miss the festive presentations.
The Quad Cities offer a wide variety of theatre shows during Summer 2017 from Shakespeare to Disney and from the West Side to the Rock of Ages. You can applaud your way through the summer months out under the stars or inside under the lights. The venues and prices vary, but the history and creativity are certain!
If you see one stage show in the Quad Cities this summer, I believe you should make it Sister Act at Circa 21.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think you should limit yourself to only one show (there are so many great performances in the area to enjoy).
But this show is pure gold and I wish everyone could see it before its run ends on July 2. (Grab your tickets here.) My mom and I enjoyed a Sunday showing and have been reminiscing ever since. The entire evening was magical.
When the lightning bugs come out so does the stage lighting for numerous summer theatre shows in the Quad Cities area. Spend your summer nights lost in the worlds of ancient Greece, forests, Biblical times, the 1980s, the 1950s, and more.
April is Quad Cities Live Month, a time to promote the Arts in the Quad Cities. What better way to celebrate then for myself and my sister to attend the Sunday early evening production of Shear Madness at Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse in downtown Rock Island, Illinois.
