During the holiday season, the Quad Cities has many performances to get you into the holiday spirit. From theatre productions, The Nutcracker, and concerts, you won’t want to miss the festive presentations.
The Quad Cities offer a wide variety of theatre shows during Summer 2017 from Shakespeare to Disney and from the West Side to the Rock of Ages. You can applaud your way through the summer months out under the stars or inside under the lights. The venues and prices vary, but the history and creativity are certain!
There’s something especially magical about watching children on stage. We’ve found the Quad Cities to be a fantastic place to introduce our boys to the theatre – from acting to singing to dancing to film – the opportunities available for them to perform are diverse and inspiring.
My friends and I (all retired from Black Hawk College) like to support local theatre so our most recent visit was to see Arsenic and Old Lace at Playcrafters Barn Theatre in Moline, Ill. Located in the middle of an upscale neighborhood , the theatre was established in 1929 and provides live entertainment throughout the year.
