Enter a world of comfortable fashion and decor by visiting Peaceful Style Boutique in Bettendorf, Iowa. My friend and I shopped there and we were immediately engaged by the attractive displays of clothing and accessories that fill the shop. From fashionable and moderately priced clothing to home decor and accessories, Peaceful Style Boutique is a breath of fresh air to the Quad Cities lifestyle/clothing scene.
SAINTS is a new boutique located in the Village of East Davenport at 2109 E. 12th Street in Davenport, Iowa. It opened up in July of 2018. I recently had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Sarah Alexander, to talk to her about her vision and all the great ideas behind the new shop.
With an abundance of shopping choices for the holidays, I was happy to be able to find many gifts at one of my favorite locally owned stores, WaterMark Corners. Owned by mother-daughter team, Barbara and Amy Trimble, WaterMark Corners is a specialty gift and stationery store. The store is in three historic buildings on the John Deere Commons across from the John Deere Pavilion in downtown Moline, Illinois. It is always a pleasure to shop in the beautiful surroundings.
There’s a new shop in Rock Island and it’s creating quite a splash. The owner, Christiana Headley, is a Quad Cities native and she opened Splash “to help you relax, rejuvenate and pamper yourself.” She has a great Facebook LIVE video describing why she is passionate about helping others take care of themselves.
As parents, we are in the home stretch!
That means, if you are anything like me, you are scrambling for last-minute gifts and stocking stuffers for your family members and friends.
Do you think that shopping local is only for adults? Not the case.
I love to find gifts for kids with a QC flair – and even better are the gifts that keep giving all year long. Most kids have plenty of toys under the tree, but these gifts give your kids the gift of experience.
So, if you are looking for a gift idea for QC kid, here are a few favorite picks.
