The Augustana Teaching Museum of Art is opening its first exhibition of the academic year by welcoming back five Augustana Alumni Artists. The exhibition, Five Alumni: Continuing to Create opens August 24th and will run until October 27th, with an opening reception on August 24th, form 5:00 to 7:00 pm. This exhibition will also bring the artists to campus for an artist roundtable on October 1st, with a reception starting at 6:30 pm. and the roundtable taking place from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. A performance, by artist justin carl hurty, will also take place October 2nd from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. All events will be held at the museum’s Centennial Hall Galleries. These events and the exhibition are free and open to the public. This exhibition features works by Audrey Brown, Mark Hansen, justin carl hurty, Drew Starenko, John VandeWalle.
