The John Deere Classic PGA Tournament is a premiere event in the Quad Cities. PGA golfers compete for a prize purse during the 49th John Deere Classic on July 8-14, 2019, at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
Fans may choose from a variety of ticket options and packages that are available for the John Deere Classic. A regular adult grounds ticket is only $25, and kids 12 and under are free with a paid adult. Any-day tickets may be purchased online at www.johndeereclassic.com or by calling 800-336-4655. They are also available for purchase at the main entrance gate.
Michael Kim, who won the John Deere Classic in record fashion last year, will be back to defend his title in 2019. Kim, who shot a tournament record 27-under par 257 and won by a record eight shots, will try to win his second PGA Tour event when he returns to the Quad Cities this summer.
Ho Sung Choi, whose unorthodox “fisherman’s swing” has made him an internet sensation, has received a sponsor exemption to play in the 2019 John Deere Classic.
Free admission will be offered for professional practice rounds on Tuesday, July 9. On Tuesday, there is also the 2 p.m. free Youth Golf Clinic. There will also be youth day activities from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the John Deere Family Zone. The annual John Deere Classic pro-am is set for Wednesday, July 10 with both morning and afternoon tee times. The tournament field will be final the Friday before the tournament on July 5. The tournament itself runs Thursday through Sunday, July 11-14. The trophy presentation follows Sunday’s final round.
