Plants and Ecology of the Mississippi River and its Floodplain with Bob Bryant, Native Plant Society

Bob Bryant, retired naturalist and plant enthusiast, will be your guide as you explore Bettendorf’s Pigeon Creek Park. Located on the Mississippi River, Pigeon Creek is an interesting park with both natural and cultural history. Meet at: Pigeon Creek Park parking lot, 7001 Schutter Ln, Bettendorf, IA 52722.

Join us for River Action’s 2017 Explore the River Series! Explore the river through a program which teaches participants first-hand about the wildlife, history, culture, and geography of the Mississippi River and the Quad Cities through Channel Cat Talks and Riverine Walks, May 30th-September 2nd, 2017.

Channel Cat Talk participants tour the Mississippi River aboard the Channel Cat Water Taxi, while experts narrate.

Riverine Walk participants explore the Quad Cities through a series of guided walks.

Headsets are provided to all Channel Cat Talk and Riverine Walk attendees for each session so you can clearly head the presentations!
