Join us to study the Bible truths about who we are and who Jesus is. We study books of the Bible and topics that explore who Christ is and our Christian life. Our Lutheran confession gladly lays out the way things are:
1. we are born as sinners;
2. Jesus has come and died and rose to make satisfaction for us,=;
3. we receive His free and full forgiveness through the means of grace (Baptism, Absolution, and Communion); and
4. our spirituality is the way of the cross, a life of joy and loss, as Jesus assures us of His presence with us ("I am with you always, to the end of the age" Matthew 28:20).
These classes are led by our Pastor, the Rev. Luke Boehringer, who teaches and leads these discussions following our Divine Service. You are welcome to join us for worship at 9 am.
Gethsemane Lutheran Church is at the corner of Jersey Ridge Road and East 32nd Street in Davenport.

About Gethsemane Lutheran Church:
Our congregation was established in 1966 off of Jersey Ridge Road and we have been here ever since. We are a congregation of mostly people who aren't from the Quad Cities, but we've moved here for school or work and made our homes here in the QCA. Our congregation and pastor are members of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (wels.net). We hold to the Book of Concord (bookofconcord.org) without qualification or reservation because it is the correct summary of God's revelation to humanity in Sacred Scritpure, the Holy Bible. We rejoice in receiving Jesus' mercy and forgiveness and seek to live lives of service in our many varied callings and vocations.
