QC Holiday Lights 2023

While riding around the QC this holiday season, you'll assuredly come across all kinds of beautiful holiday lights. Here are some great stops. Enjoy the beauty of the season!

Winter Nights Winter Lights at the QC Botanical Center

The outdoor gardens of the Quad City Botanical Center are in winter bloom November 17-January 1 with over 225,000 glowing lights during Winter Nights Winter Lights. Showcasing the largest light display yet, new areas of the outdoor gardens will be lit. New additions include pocket exhibits, lighted nature motifs, a dancing light show, and two events called Lights and Leashes and Krampus Nights. Bundle up and stroll the gardens at night from 5-9 p.m. Stop in at the outdoor events canopy for hot cocoa and treats.

Open New Year’s Eve and the night of New Year’s Day. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Lights and Flights: Experience the light display and sample locally-crafted brews and pizza from Radicle Effect Brewerks and Huckleberry's Pizza. Radicle will be serving up sample flights of their beer brewed in Rock Island, and Huckleberry's will serve a sampler of Italian food. Enjoy live music by Roger Carlson and friends. December 14 or 28 from 6-8:30 pm.

Krampus Nights: New! Meet Krampus and take your own photos on December 1-2 from 6-8pm. Learn the folklore of Krampus with the German American Heritage Center & Museum.

Lights & Leashes: New! Bring your dogs for a stroll through the gardens on November 19 and December 3 from 5-9pm. 

Visit Santa: Visit Santa and Mrs. Claus and take your own photos on December 8-9 from 5-8 pm. Advanced ticket purchase highly recommended.

Impact Life Blood Drive: Life-saving blood donations are at critical need right now. Donate blood at the donor bus in our parking lot on Nov. 29 to receive four free tickets to the light exhibit. Schedule an appointment at bloodcenter.org or call 800-747-5401. Hosted in collaboration with Visit Quad Cities.

Lights at Vander Veer Park

The Poinsettia and Lights display inside the Vander Veer Conservatory opens November 25 and will close on January 14. The conservatory is open 10am-4pm with no admission charge (closed Mondays). The Conservatory will have extended hours until 7 pm on Saturdays on 11/25, 12/2, 12/9, 12/16. Early Closures |  Sunday, 12/24 and 12/31 10am - 2 pm; Closed 12/25 & 12/26 & 1/1 & 1/2. There are also outdoor lights in the park that can be seen after dark.

Fejervary Holiday Lights

Fejervary Learning Center, 1800 W. 12th St., Davenport, Iowa, has a fun holiday light show to park and watch with even more lights this year.  The free shows last approximately 15 minutes with a new show starting every 30 minutes beginning at 5 PM; the last show starts at 9:30 PM.  The light display is happening November 25 through January 7.

Turn your radio to 107.5 FM to sync with the holiday lights music broadcast.

Directions: Enter on W. 12th St and follow the directional signs. Attendees may park at the listed locations. Accessible parking is labeled and located directly across from the learning center. Exit by following the loop around the west side of the learning center and down Wilkes Ave.

Kall Christmas House - This light show syncs up with your radio at 107.1 FM. It's every night from 5:30-10:00 pm located at 1852 Westminster Circle, Davenport. See the schedule on their Facebook page.
