Experience Our QC Visual Arts

Home to hundreds of talented artists whose work is on display and for sale at numerous galleries, plus, a premier art museum that features amazing collections and exciting traveling exhibits, art is in our DNA.

Explore our world-class Figge Art Museum or experience the heat as glass artists create beautiful pieces of hand-blown glass at Hot Glass Inc.

Expand your visual arts experience with a visit to Quad City Arts. This local arts organization presents prodigious amounts of visual art indoors and outdoors throughout the region. Its main gallery in downtown Rock Island has over 1,500 square feet of rotating exhibit space and a gallery store where people can browse original artwork from more than 75 area artists.

Local artist, Isabel Bloom, studied under the famous American artist Grant Wood. Her recognizable, cement-cast sculptures are now designed by Isabel’s protégé Donna Young. Guests can watch artisans from the Studio Showroom window or go on the behind-the-scenes free tour to watch the handcrafted sculptures created step-by-step.

Many small galleries throughout the Quad Cities region are worth exploring including the Beréskin Gallery, the eclectic Rutabaga Art Gallery and Smith Studio and Gallery in Geneseo, Illinois.
