Be Ready QC Emergency Resource Fair

Join Scott County Emergency Management Agency and the Rock Island Emergency Management Agency for the 4^th Annual Be Ready QC: Emergency Resource Fair. This family-centric event will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2006 from 11:30am – 3:30pm at the Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf, Iowa.

 This annual event brings together a variety of non-profit, non-governmental organizations, industry partners and others to provide information, advice and support to individuals, households and others in the greater Quad Cities area to help prepare for potential disasters in their homes and communities. Several hands-on education opportunities are planned, including a fire education house to help children understand what to do in the event of a house fire. Informational sessions will be offered to provide training on Stop the Bleed practices and Hands Only-CPR.
