Alternating Currents Festival

Alternating Currents is an annual music, film, art and comedy festival that celebrates and promotes Quad Cities businesses. It’s a unique downtown adventure where thousands converge to experience our region’s vibrant culture. Just like the mighty Mississippi River flowing in the background, Alternating Currents is bringing some serious energy to the Quad Cities.

Alternating Currents features 100+ acts across 30+ venues with a wide variety of music, comedy film and visual arts. It’s also the only bi-state, multi-city festival of its kind and Downtown Quad Cities’ annual opportunity to flex its creative muscle for the world to see! Nearly all programming is free to attend. The festival reaches a diverse consumer base with a unique and engaging experience that showcases our region’s best assets for visitors and residents alike.
