Port Byron Great River Tug Fest

Since 1987. The Port Byron Great River Tug Fest is a wonderful, family oriented street festival with food, fun, carnival, live bands, fireworks on Friday night. The tug of war across the Mighty Mississippi River starts Saturday at noon. Other events include a Kids bike parade, pageant, URICRA bags tournament, arm wrestling tournament, free kids games, kids tug of war, 5K run and more.No coolers, pets, or weapons allowed at Tug Fest.
