Polar Express Pajama Parties

Families of all ages can expect tons of fun while attending a Polar Express Pajama Party — a QC holiday tradition, over ten years strong! You and your family will enjoy the magnificent holiday classic The Polar Express 3D on the GIANT Screen in the comfort of your PJs and take part in holiday activities for all ages, including temporary tattoos, hot chocolate in an exclusive souvenir travel mug, a make-n-take sleigh bell station, a souvenir Putnam ornament and a lights-out adventure through the museum exhibits.

This event has proven time and again to be a blast for the entire family, and shows sell out FAST! Don’t forget to bring your flashlight!

Here’s the full schedule of events: 

• Friday, Dec. 17, 5 – 9 p.m.: Movies showing at 6 p.m. | 8:15 p.m.

• Saturday, Dec. 18, 5 – 9 p.m.: Movies showing at 6 p.m. | 8:15 p.m.

There are three event ticket options this year!

• Regular Tickets - $14 for adults, and $11 for youth (3-18). Regular tickets include a souvenir ornament, hot chocolate in a souvenir travel mug, a seat in the movie theater, and all of the holiday activities.

• Activity-only Tickets – $9 for adults and youth (3-18). Activity-only tickets include a souvenir ornament, hot chocolate in a souvenir travel mug, and all of the holiday activities. Movie ticket not included with this option.

• VIP Tickets - $25 for adults and youth (3-18). VIP tickets include a souvenir ornament, hot chocolate in a souvenir travel mug, a seat in the movie theater, all of the holiday activities, AND a Polar PJ Party expanding camping lantern, and the choice of either a PJ Party logo Blanket or Pillow.

At HOME Party Kits

Regular Kit - $34.99 --- valued at $90

Includes: two silver jingle bells w/ ribbon, Putnam Fabbed at the Putnam Ornaments, craft activities, four souvenir golden tickets, hot cocoa with mini candy canes for four, four custom cookies from Cookies by Design, and four General Admission Passes for the Putnam. The home party kit will also include a gift card to stream The Polar Express.

Deluxe Kit - $74.99--- valued at $160

Includes everything in the Regular Kit, AND two custom Putnam Polar PJ Party blankets, a Logo expandable camping lantern and the choice of a Polar Express puzzle or game.

Safety Protocols

• The safety of our visitors is our top priority. All individuals (age 2 and up), regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear face coverings inside the museum as per the CDC guidelines specific to Scott County and the surrounding area.
• When sitting down to eat or drink in the theater or concessions seating area, visitors may remove their face covering.
• Theater capacity is limited at this time to ensure the ability of proper social distancing. Markers will be on the floor in the queue line to help keep guests a safe distance.
• Every other row in the theater will be closed. Guests will be asked to leave a minimum of 2 seats between families/groups.
• All high-touch areas of the theater will be cleaned between showings.
• Limited concessions will be available and must be consumed in the theater or designated seating area.
