Virtual Mad Scientist Ball

Join us for an electrifying night to raise awareness and funds for the Putnam Museum and Science Center! Mad Scientist Ball is the Putnam’s premier annual event to raise the necessary funds for the support of our programs, services and collections such as summer camps, rotating and permanent exhibits, and virtual learning. This virtual event includes an interactive science experiment, instruction from a mixologist on crafting a delicious signature cocktail, as well as a Q&A session from MIT Aerospace Engineer, and Emmy-Nominated TV host, Emily Calandrelli!

Be a part of the experiment for $20 per ticket, $150 per table of 8.
Make your reservation by Oct. 15!

Instructions for using the Zoom platform and login information will be provided after purchasing your ticket.

YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS

As the steward of our region’s treasures, the Putnam Museum preserves and exhibits amazing artifacts from our region and around the world.  As people of all ages roam our museum, they discover their Putnam experience is not about things ... but rather grand ideas that connect us to community, to culture and to our collective future.

Throw on your lab coat or dress as your favorite scientist to enjoy this event from the comfort of home! This unique celebration of one of our community’s treasured cultural amenities takes place right from the comfort of your own home—or anywhere you choose! With technology right at our fingertips, we want to connect with our network of museum lovers. By eliminating thousands of dollars of event costs needed to host a physical event, more of your donation goes directly to impacting education of our guests and the preservation of our collection.
