Empower House Spooktacular 5K and Fall Festival

The Empower House’s Spooktacular 5K and Fall Festival is shaping up to be an amazing annual fundraising event. The response from the Quad Cities community has been amazing!

The festival will run from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on October 8th at Quinlan Court in Davenport. Admission to the festival is free and open to the public. The race is for registered participants (registration from children 10 and under is optional.) There is a team challenge for the race. Anyone, friends, family or coworkers can form a team. Your team could win a prize for the largest registered team!

The 5K Run/Walk will be timed this year thanks to Five Cities Financial and will begin at 10 a.m. Participants may run/walk a half or full 5K. Teams and Halloween attire is encouraged! Race registration is open NOW. Go to getmeregistered.com/EmpowerHouseSpooktacular to register for the race.

Don’t miss this post-race party/fall festival! Admission to the festival is free. River Music Experience is organizing live music for the day.

Come hungry! What BBQ and Bar will be serving BBQ. Moodies Foodies will be serving tacos and SMS Soul Food will be serving burgers and hot dogs.

Come thirsty! Front Street Brewery will be handling serving beer for the day. Iron + Grain will have coffee available.

Sweet Treats will be available! Lagomarcino’s will be selling their famous caramel apples. Michelle’s Sweet Treats from Durant will be back this year with amazing treats, along with additional sweet treat vendors.

SHOPPING! There will be a craft/vendor fair with nearly over 20 vendors to date with more registrations coming in. The mix of vendors is inclusive for anyone, from small independent vendors and crafters to larger businesses.

All ages are welcome! Children’s activities will be sponsored by the Bettendorf Rotary. It truly will be a great place for anyone to enjoy the day. There is something for everyone!
