ROCK THE RIVER SIX FEET APART-Y

The QC Rock Academy is teaming up with Rock Island Parks & Recreation for an awesome night of live music with plenty of room for social distancing! ROCK THE RIVER “SIX FEET APART-Y will be held on Saturday, September 26^th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Schwiebert Riverfront Park (1^st Avenue and 18^th Street in Rock Island).

There will be six student bands performing on stage plus one solo act at this beautiful venue. The event is free and for all ages. Concessions will be available including grilled food, Happy Joe’s pizza and Bent River Brewing Company. Bands playing include: Been There Done That, Strictly Business, Made Ya Look, Crushed Monkey, Daze Off, Tell Tale Heart, and Avona Almond (solo). This event is sponsored by QC Rock Academy, Rock Island Parks and Recreation, I-Rock 93.5, Pieler Productions, The Kelly Team at Ruhl & Ruhl Realtors, Erin McChesney from Ruhl & Ruhl Realtors, Lucas Dengler-Modern Woodmen of America, and QC Custom Tees.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Event parking available in lot at 17th Street/1st Avenue (next to playground) or throughout downtown Rock Island.
