From the initial founding of Fort Armstrong on the Rock Island Arsenal to the Blackhawk War, this will be the first comprehensive attempt to capture, display and interpret the arsenal’s history by telling the story though the units, both current and former, that call the island home.

Visit Quad Cities and area museums have teamed up again to bring Quad Cities Museum Week on June 11-18, 2023.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is pleased to reveal the competing teams and individuals for the 28th Annual NAIA Women's Golf National Championship, running from May 23-26 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. This is the first time the Quad Cities has served as host of the NAIA Women’s Golf National Championships.

Dave Herrell, President and CEO, Visit Quad Cities, was named as Chairman. Herrell serves as ICCVB’s current chairman and fiscal year 2023-2024 will mark his third year leading the non-profit association.

In celebration of these innovative brewers, QC Craft Beer Week is May 13-20, 2023, and it is a partnership between Visit Quad Cities' QC Ale Trail, MUGZ, and local breweries as they highlight the culture of craft brewing in the Quad Cities bi-state region.
