QC Restaurant Week Returns on New Date in 2021 for Important Support of Local Restaurant Scene

February 16, 2021

Quad Cities (February 16, 2021) – Small businesses are a key part of the Quad Cities region and set us apart from other destinations.  Our QC identity includes our local restaurants and they are where favorite foods are enjoyed, important life moments are celebrated, and memories are made.

Considering the many challenges our restaurants have and continue to experience, this year’s spotlight is more important than ever.  Visit Quad Cities announces QC Restaurant Week returns this spring on March 22-28, 2021.

“Our Quad Cities restaurant community is vital to our regional destination’s success,” said Dave Herrell, President and CEO, Visit Quad Cities.  “We encourage Quad Citizens and visitors to support these locally owned and operated small businesses in whatever way they can.  Restaurants bring people together and represent a large number of hospitality jobs in the QC.  We need them to thrive because their authenticity and unique experiences help shape our brand and story.”

Restaurant participation is free of charge, and there are no special price points or prix-fixe menu requirements.  The deadline for restaurants to register is March 12th.  All of the details and online registration is available on the QC Restaurant Week website at www.qcrestaurantweek.com.  The opportunity is available for all restaurants including dine-in, delivery, and carryout.

Visit Quad Cities encourages food lovers to explore www.qcrestaurantweek.com and to keep checking back as new restaurants will be added.  In addition to supporting local restaurants, Quad Citizens have a chance to win local restaurant gift cards.  Individuals who purchase a meal from one of the QC Restaurant Week restaurants between March 22-28 can fill out the entry form on the website with a picture of their receipt, photo of themselves at the restaurant, or posing with their carryout meal for a chance to win.
