'QC, That's Where' Debuts on KWQC's QC Live

Quad Cities, IL/IA (February 8, 2024) - Visit Quad Cities is proud to support a new segment on QC Live called “QC, That's Where”. This exciting addition to the show, which debuted on February 5, 2024, is set to showcase the vibrant culture, thriving businesses, regional economic development and unique attractions of the Quad Cities destination. QC Live airs on KWQC and is hosted by Morgan Ottier along with Meteorologist Kyle Kiel. 

In partnership with the Quad Cities Chamber, “QC, That's Where” aims to highlight the best of what the Quad Cities has to offer for visitors and residents alike. From local events to hidden gems, this segment will provide viewers with an inside look at everything that makes the Quad Cities a must-experience riverfront destination.  

Visit Quad Cities professional staff will be making regular appearances both in-studio and live on location to showcase the importance of growing visitation in the Quad Cities region while also building resident pride. 

“QC, That's Where” is part of a broader effort to promote the Quad Cities as a premier destination for visitors, investors, and residents alike. This initiative builds upon the regional brand and multi-platform campaign launched in 2021 through a partnership between Visit Quad Cities and the Quad Cities Chamber. 

“We are thrilled to strengthen our partnership and collaborative energy with KWQC and the Quad Cities Chamber,” said Lindsey Row, Director of Public Relations and Communications at Visit Quad Cities. “Naming our segment in alignment with our regional brand enables us to further promote the value of tourism and become stronger champions of the Quad Cities brand.” 

QC Live replaces the established time slot held by Paula Sands Live, whose legendary host Paula Sands retired after 41 years at KWQC. Viewers can watch the “QC That’s Where” segment QC Live on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3:00 p.m. CST.
