Visit Quad Cities to Share Results of Resident Sentiment Survey
February 16, 2026
Quad Cities, IL/IA (February 16, 2026) - Visit Quad Cities will present findings from its latest Resident Sentiment Survey, conducted in partnership with Longwoods International, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. via Zoom. The survey measures Quad Citizens’ perception of tourism, economic and community impact, and quality of life in the region. The data provides insight into how residents view tourism, community pride, and the role of Visit Quad Cities as the official Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) for the region.
“On behalf of our Board of Directors and professional team, we look forward to sharing the Resident Sentiment Survey findings conducted by Longwoods International,” said Dave Herrell, President and CEO, Visit Quad Cities. “This type of foundational research was a recommendation and action item within the region’s Tourism Master Plan. Our residents are our primary customers, and Visit Quad Cities’ priority is to continually add value to the region’s quality of life while invigorating our visitor economy. These findings provide our organization with the data to refine priorities and direction for the future, and we are grateful to Longwoods and our Quad Citizens for their time in this important study.”
The last time that Visit Quad Cities conducted a resident sentiment survey was in 2019, as it was in the development process of the region’s Destination Vision and Strategic Plan, which serves as the Quad Cities’ Tourism Master Plan.
