Located on the Illinois side of the QC region, Silvis is home to the John Deere Classic PGA TOUR. Watch PGA pros compete and listen to rock and country stars with “Concerts on the Course”. The course is open to the public, features a 71-par course, a full practice green with locker rooms and a 14,000 sq ft clubhouse/pro shop, and is home to The Greenside Grille, a delicious dining venue that is also open to the public.

TPC Deere Run is built on the site of a former Arabian horse farm. Designed by D.A. Weibring, this former three-time winner of the tournament brought out the best of the natural, rolling landscape along the Rock River to create a championship golf course that blends challenge and playability.

Hero Street in Silvis is a street that honors veterans of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. It has been documented that as of the present day there have been over 100 young men and women from Second Street who have given service to the U.S. Military Forces.
