QC, That's Where We Celebrate the Winter Season.
Four seasons are something to celebrate and the Quad Cities celebrates each of them with festivals and events, outdoor opportunities, popular attractions, and activities.
The QC is the heart of the Midwest, a family of communities connected by one of the world’s most renowned rivers, the Mississippi River.
During the winter months, we like to celebrate the chill and snow with events that will warm you up with fun and adventure.

Bald Eagle Days & Bald Eagle Watching - Each winter when the weather turns cold, the Quad Cities serve as host to a large majority of bald eagles making their annual southern migration from Canada to the unfrozen waters of the Mississippi River. Residents and visitors alike look to the skies to watch the eagles, easily identified by the white feathers of their heads and tails and their immense wingspans. A symbol of freedom and strength, and once on the brink of extinction, the bald eagles regularly awe visitors who line the banks of the Mississippi River. Bald Eagle Days - January 7-9
Winter Wheels: Antique Motorcycle Exhibition - Take a ride through history on two wheels. Open through April 3, 2022, this exhibition features vintage, classic, and antique motorcycles of all makes and models. Motorheads and new riders alike will enjoy viewing rusty gold to frame-up restorations and everything in between in this Putnam Museum & Science Center original exhibition.
Icestravaganza January 14 - 16 - Beautiful ice carvings on display all three days at the Freight House on the riverfront in downtown Davenport.
