Live Music, Visual Arts and Theatre in the QC

The Quad Cities’ arts and cultural scene flows throughout the region like the currents of the Mississippi River. As the Creative Capital of the Midwest, the QC is home to hundreds of talented artists, musicians, actors, and dancers who bring creative experiences to music stages, galleries, and theater settings.

Visual arts reign supreme in the Quad Cities, like The Figge Art Museum, which is home to Iowa's largest public art display (also one of the largest in the country). Its building is a living work of art with a one-mile-long, four-sided installation created by world-renowned artist Leo Villareal. “Evanescent Field” as an ever-evoloving light display inspired by the movement of the Mississippi River.

From acoustic bands, big-name concerts, and open mic nights throughout the week to ballet, symphony, art exhibits, intimate galleries, dramas, comedies, Broadway productions, and stand-up comedians, the growing performance schedule in the QC continues to offer up something new.

Let the QC entertain you with creative energy and experiences that will keep you applauding for more.
