Check out these Quad Cities options to visit that correlated with your Zodiac sign

Aries (March 21-April 19)

As challenge seekers with a competitive spirit, Rams should explore the diverse sports teams in the Quad Cities. See a River Bandits baseball game with one of the most fantastic ballpark views in the world. Catch the excitement of the Quad City Steamwheelers arena football or QC Storm Hockey game at Vibrant Arena. In July, run the Quad-City Times Bix 7 race or visit in September to cross the TBK Bank Quad Cities Marathon off the list.

For the younger rams, consider visiting Elevate trampoline adventure parks in Milan or Davenport, or go to The Fun Station!

Recommended Restaurant: Fresh Blends

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

The Quad Cities offer soothing environments with succulent flavors and scents to cleanse the senses of the Taurus. Visit Miss Effie’s Flower Garden or Vander Veer Botanical Park’s Rose Garden or nightly fountain light display (available in warmer weather). Camp at Loud Thunder in Andalusia where you can enjoy a kayak paddle on Lake George or appreciate a hike through the woods. Bulls will love sitting along the Mississippi River in Moline on Ben Butterworth parkway becoming one with the lovely rustle of the waters and the slow chug of the tug boats.

For younger bulls, stop at the Quad Cities Botanical Center Children’s Garden. Look for fairies, enjoy butterflies, hunt for toads, and feed the fish.

Recommended Restaurants: UP Skybar has a lovely rooftop view and Lagomarcino’s Confectionary will delight the taste buds.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Curious and interested in new ideas and adventures, the Quad Cities is a great place to explore for Gemini. Have fun playing some of the region's best disc golf courses, stop at the unique Analog Arcade bars. The Quad Cities offers a variety of happy hours and dance venues. Check out the QC Salsa Collective for regular lessons and dance venues. Follow the QC Ale Trail for beverage flights and fun happy hour specials. Snowstar Extreme Sports in Andalusia offers more than winter tubing, skiing, and snowboarding (which are super fun!) including Euchre tournaments and more. Social Gemini will find all kinds of events to feed their outgoing, talkative nature.

For younger Geminis, check out Skate City in East Moline for roller skating, laser tag, and more. Also, consider BackYard Bowl in Milan or Quad Cities Entertainment in Moline or an extra adventure.

Recommended Restaurants: Oishi for some of the best Hibachi in the Quad Cities or Mantra for Indian cuisine.

Cancer (June 21-June 22)

Located on the fourth largest river in the world, the Quad Cities is a strong draw for Cancers. Take a relaxing ride on the Channel Cat Water Taxi, enjoy a peaceful wander through the rain garden at the Quad City Botanical Center, or swim at one of the many pools in the area (the Y in Bettendorf has an indoor waterslide and there are a lot of great outdoor waterslides and experiences such as Splash Landing in Davenport, Whitewater Junction in Rock Island, or West Lake Beach in Davenport). Treat yourself to the last light of the day at Sunset Marina in Rock Island as the sun sets over the waters of the Mississippi.

Younger cancers might also enjoy an outing to Niabi Zoo where you can feed the coy fish or a tall giraffe. You’ll delight in the animals’ antics and perhaps enjoy a train ride.

Recommended refreshment stop: The Grape Life wine store and lounge. Enjoy the soothing ambiance while relaxing with a glass or two.

Leo (July 23 - Aug 22)

Dramatic, outgoing, and passionate Leos definitely find their place in the Quad Cities performing community. See a show at the Adler Theatre, enjoy comedians at The Renwick Mansion, or watch a show produced by Genesius Guild under the stars at the outdoor venue in Lincoln Park. There are lots of music venues to inspire you. Check out the outdoor performances in Schwiebert Park right along the river in Rock Island or the Bix (Beiderbecke) Jazz Festival in Davenport. The Village of East Davenport showcases a delightfully old firehouse that will fan the flames of the fire-loving Leos as they head to see a live band at one of the many Village venues.

Young Leos will enjoy the fire truck station at the Bettendorf Family Museum. There’s lots more to explore and pretend play including a pizza parlor, a bakery, a barn, and an outdoor airplane playground.

Restaurant Recommendation: Dinner and a show at Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse

Virgo (Aug 23 - Sept 22)

Virgo’s love of agriculture finds a natural home in the Quad Cities with the headquarters of agricultural giant John Deere. Check out the John Deere Pavilion. Plus there are lots of wonderful local shops to feed the Virgo’s need for material goods. The lovely antique shops of the College District in Rock Island, local stores like Crafted QC, or Skeleton Key in Rock Island will offer both the practical and whimsical.

For a unique look at the sky, check out the Planetarium at Augustana College. You’ll love the recent renovations and the impressive views from the high-powered telescope. Right across the way from the Planetarium, younger Virgos might especially enjoy the Fryxell Geology Museum with its gems, rocks, and dinosaur fossils. For another evening adventure, check out the Blue Grass Drive-in.

Restaurant Recommendations: The Combine in East Moline - enjoy some of the Quad Cities’ best steak, or The Machine Shed in Davenport for a family-style meal

Libra (Sept 23-Oct 22)

A stop for the view on the Skybridge in Davenport or a ride on the Ferris Wheel at Modern Woodmen Park will delight this air sign visitor. Libras of all ages will love the Ferris Wheel at Modern Woodmen Park and, of course, it’s always fun to see a baseball game “top minor league ballpark” in the US! Appealing to balance and harmony, stop at the Figge Art Museum or tour the Deere-Wiman Estate, or the Colonel Davenport House for a taste of old-school charm and grace.

You can also check out the Black Hawk State Historic Site for a walk through the rich Native American history. You’ll also get to check out samples of various native flora and fauna. There are some great wooden playgrounds at Black Hawk for young Libras, but the best wooden playground in the QC is in Hampton, IL. You must check it out: Empire Park.

Restaurant recommendations: Pee-Wee’s in Rock Island for gumbo and shrimp po’boys or Me & Billy in Davenport for a unique beverage.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21)

These brave water lovers may enjoy a bike ride on the Mississippi or a trip on the Celebration Belle Riverboat that tours up and down the Quad Cities shoreline. Follow the QC Ale Trail to get a taste of the craft brews available in the area. Make a stop in the evening at Vander Veer Botancial Park’s fountains to see the fountain colors jump and flow.

If little Scorpios are in your group, stop into the Bettendorf Family Museum and splash in the water tables or twist your way to the top of the two-story climber. For summer splashing, stop at Schwiebert Park splash area in Rock Island.

Restaurant Recommendations: Front Street Brew Pub in downtown Davenport or Riverfront Grille along the Rock River in Rock Island.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 - Dec 21)

The Quad Cities can definitely feed a Sagittarius’ quest for knowledge. Try visiting the Buffalo Bill Museum in LeClaire or the Putnam Museum & Science Center in Davenport. Like any geographical intellectual, you won’t want to miss the Fryxell Museum at Augustana College with its glow-in-the-dark rocks and second-largest collection of dinosaur bones in the Midwest! Adventurous Sagittarius can try their skill in ax throwing a Live Action Games in Davenport. Test out your cleverness at the Harrison Street Escape Room. Visit in August to enjoy Riverfront Pops, an orchestral delight performed along the river.

For smaller archers, you might find it fun to stop off at the park near the Village of East Davenport or hike through Black Hawk State Historic Park. Of course, they will especially enjoy the Putnam and Fryxell Museums.

Restaurant suggestions: Get a picnic lunch, roast hot dogs at Black Hawk State Historic Site, or try out some of the best sandwiches the QC has to offer from the Corner Deli in the Village of East Davenport.

Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 19)

There’s nothing like a walk, jog, or bike ride along the Mississippi River to clear the mind for serious, focused Capricorns. A guided tour through the Figge Art Museum or a quiet lunch can bring balance and peace. Perhaps a poetry reading at Rozz-Tox would illuminate and intrigue a Capricorn. At one with the Earth, Capricorns may find the homemade merchandise at Skeleton Key in Rock Island appealing, or perhaps would be interested in making their own wood signs and home décor at Studio D3.

Smaller Capricorns may enjoy the Niabi Zoo, the Quad City Botanical Center, or perhaps a walk in Duck Creek Park. They will also enjoy interactive exhibits and the GIANT Screen theater at the Putnam Museum & Science Center in Davenport.

Restaurant suggestion: QC Coffee & Pancake House in Rock Island

Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 18)

Deep and imaginative, Aquarius will appreciate the German American Heritage Center’s variety of exhibits or the Figge Art Museum’s lovely presentations. Good at lots of things, Aquarius may dive into the various unique QC competitions like the Rock Island Grand Prix or Kwik Star Quad Cities Criterium. One of the newest adventures is the ninja warrior park available at Sunderbruch Park in Davenport. You’ll also find many Mountain Bike trails to explore. Check out any clean-up efforts by Living Lands and Waters, a nationally acclaimed river clean-up organization. Their headquarters are located in the Quad Cities.

For our little Aquarius friends, consider the mini-golf course in Coal Valley or visit in the autumn and enjoy the Corn Crib’s fun fall festival.

Restaurant recommendations: Jim’s Ribs or try the famous Taco Pizza at Harris Pizza in Rock Island.

Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 20)

Start the day touring the Quad Cities murals to feed the artistic side of your Pisces. You’ll wind through streets and enjoy the various neighborhoods and personalities of the (more than four) Quad Cities. Make a stop at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport. Little Pisces will enjoy their Family Art Center. Check the website for open times. In the winter, view the bald eagles that often congregate at Lock and Dam 15. Pisces' affinity with the air will delight in the heights of the soaring, majestic birds.

Little and big fish will love the water adventures. In the summer, check out some of the amazing public pools that are more like small water parks. We especially recommend Whitewater Junction in Rock Island or Splash Landing in Bettendorf. If swimming is out, consider renting a pontoon boat or kayaking on Lake George at Loud Thunder Forest Preserve. Or, grab your own vessel and join the Floatzilla canoe/kayak event in August.

Restaurant recommendation: Bass Street Chop House is right on the river in Moline
