Best Sandwiches in the Quad Cities

I asked my fellow Quad Citizens for the best sandwiches available in the Quad Cities and they delivered. My mouth is literally watering as I write this, and I can't wait until my next lunch date! My advice: just start at the top of the list and work your way down. There's not a single sandwich or establishment on this list that you will regret trying. Sooooo many tasty recommendations!

Arthur's Garden Deli in Rock Island, IL: lots of favorites and very reasonable

“The veggie with lettuce instead of sprouts! They make their own honey wheat bread and it is just so good! It was my first meal request after the births of my kids!” shares Sarah Bradley. Kathleen Hanna agrees with the veggie: “Yes, this! Except I get mine with olive spread and sprouts instead of lettuce.” Nicole Durbin says, “The veggie sandwich with bacon. Don't judge my addition of bacon to a veggie sandwich.”

“All the sandwiches are really good, honestly. Not a lot of wait time for something a bit healthier than fast food. They also have lots of vegetarian options,” shares Grace Gugelmeyer.

Village Corner Deli in the Village of East Davenport, IA: turkey Reuben, the classic and everything else
“When I was pregnant, without me even asking, they'd even cook the turkey longer so it was heated all the way through,” Katie Petersen remembers fondly.

It was this sandwich at the Village Corner Deli that inspired this blog and I don't even remember for certain which it was because I had such a hard time deciding. I think it is Turkey Italiano without banana peppers. Regardless: It was the most amazing sandwiches I've EVER eaten. Go there, eat their food.[/caption]
