Riverboat Twilight

Saturday, July 4th at 11 am and 1:30 pm and 4 pm. 1 ½ hour sightseeing cruise delivers an exciting exploration of part of the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge, while relaxing aboard the Riverboat Twilight's 3 decks. The Sightseeing cruises will depart and return from the Port of LeClaire. Captain Kevin Stier is well-versed on all things and will give an overview of the area and facts about the river, its quaint river towns, history, commerce and abundant wildlife that makes this area so fascinating to explore.

Sunday, July 5th at 11 am. Enjoy a brunch cruise aboard the Riverboat Twilight. Fare includes your choice of items from our brunch menu, plated and served at your table, a three hour cruise and Captain's narration.

Friday, July 3rd at 5-8 pm & Saturday, July 4th at 12-3 pm. Enjoy their extended outside seating across the front parking lot while taking in the weather, heavy tunes, Wake brews and amazing food by local food vendors. This Friday from 5-8 pm and this Saturday from 12-3 pm Floyds Burgers and Sliders will be outside at Wake slinging some of the best burgers in the QC.

Saturday, July 4th at 11 am-11 pm. There is no firework show in Milan this year, but Finn's is throwing a backyard party with a bang at Finn’s Grill. Friday, July 3rd at 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Imagination Studio - Paint, work with clay, or use the hands-on tools to make your very own masterpiece. Any art supply or tool you need is located all in one place. Adult must stay with child(ren). Open to all ages. Included with admission. 

German American Heritage Center

June 30th - July 3rd and July 5th Open by Appointment Only. GAHC will offer ticketed and timed visits to groups of less than 6 every 45 minutes during normal hours. They will be instituting new cleaning procedures, social distancing, sanitization areas, and mask requirements for those able. Please call to reserve your time at 563-322-8844.  Times are as follows for Tuesday-Saturday: 10am, 10:45, 11:30, 12:15, 2:00, 2:45 and 3:30. Times for Sunday: 12:00, 12:45, 1:30, 2:15, 3:30. Admission continues to be $5 Adults, $4 Seniors, $3 Kids, Free under 5, and Free for Members.

The zoo is open everyday 9 am-3 pm, including July 4th. You mut purchase your tickets online in advance for either the morning or afternoon time slot. 

Quad City Botanical Center Sunday Funday At Night

Sunday, July 5th at 7-9 pm. Come for this special nighttime version of their popular Sunday Funday program. Learn about fireflies and why the populations are falling. If you have fireflies at home, catch them and bring them for a nighttime release at the gardens, Free for members or included with admission, no RSVP required.
