House Party with A Purpose: Taste the QC, Support Family Resources!
Finding unique ways to enjoy the Quad Cities restaurants and get together with friends is one the best “silver linings” of these unprecedented times. Family Resources is serving up a fun experience while supporting a great cause: A House Party for a Purpose! We did this with friends last year and it was one of the best nights: food, friends, and fundraising.
Here’s how it works
The party takes place on October 1, 2021.
- Pick a home (yours, a friend’s, etc).
- Invite your friends.
- Select a catering option from local restaurants.
- Get the party delivered to you.
- Raise funds to support the vital work of Family Resources.

Lopiez - offering New York style pizza that will tantalize your taste buds. Get ready to enjoy some of the largest pieces of pizza in the QC. Located in Davenport, Moline and on the go via Food Truck, you’ll get your Lopiez delivered!
Lunardi’s Italian Restaurant - specializing in authentic pastas, garden fresh salads and a variety of sandwiches, this family owned and operated delight prides itself in using the finest ingredients. You’ll enjoy the rare pleasure of Lundardi’s served directly to your home.
Cavort - unique flavors will melt in your mouth as you taste the interesting mix of pasta, nachos, polenta, and more. This new Davenport restaurant will offer you high quality food with delightful presentations all at your own home.
You and your friends enjoy a dinner party
During the party you can bid on raffle items, make donations, and have the best time knowing you are supporting a critical organization in the Quad Cities community. Family Resources provides valuable resources to support successful lives and build strong communities. Lifting up individuals and families, the organization helps people in all walks of life through counseling, foster care, survivor services, comprehensive care coordination and so much more. Each year hundreds of locals are lifted up. Their lives are changed. Family Resources connects those with need to those most skilled at helping. Hear some personal testimonies during the program. The House Party for Purpose Gala is aiming to raise $35,000 outside of their generous sponsors. Dedicated to the community at every level, this year’s Family Resources Gala will highlight four fantastic restaurants offering amazing food and lovely fellowship all in setting we can feel safe and happy.
