Jimmy's Pancake House in Bettendorf, Iowa, is a family owned restaurant where “everything is made to order with fresh, quality ingredients using Jimmy's perfected recipes.”
The decor is professionally designed by a local graphic artist who worked with Jimmy, the owner, to include his Greek roots into the space. The island colors along with the attentive staff make for a warm and inviting eating experience.
Bettendorf Interior
Serving both breakfast and lunch with special hot meals and homemade soups each day, I find the menu to be varied and well-rounded with specials to meet everyone's tastes. I especially like their homemade crepes which remind me of my Czech great-grandmother's and grandmother's recipe.
The menu includes a large breakfast selection including egg classics, egg specialties, skillets, house specialties, omelettes, pancakes (Which are excellent!), Belgian waffles, crepes (My favorite!), French toast, and a kid's menu. For lunch, burgers, salads and soup, gourmet sandwiches, and special hot meals are enticing.
