Labor Day Weekend in the QC

Don’t be sad about the end of summer! There are many different events and activities to bring the summer to a close this Labor Day weekend. Come enjoy these exciting events to celebrate workers past and present!

For a trip back in time head on over to Pioneer Village for their Labor Day Weekend Festival! Catch fascinating demonstrations of Blacksmithing and weaving. Get the kids involved with games and crafts too! Make a day of it with food and ice cream for sale at Pioneer Village’s Soda Fountain.

Now back to the future for some good old-fashioned fun! Parades are an American staple for any national celebration, so come celebrate with us at Rock Island’s annual Labor Day Parade or the East Moline Parade.

The Orion Fall Festival is celebrating its 50th Anniversary on Sept 2, 3, and 4, 2022. Most events take place in and near Orion Central Park. Pie Contest & Auction, Arts & Crafts, Street Dances, Carnival Rides, a Parade, Girl’s Pageant, Kids Games and Activities, Dueling Pianos, a Car Show, and many more entertaining activities will be available for some family fun!

Want something a bit more fast-paced? We’ve got you covered! The Xtreme Rock Island Grand Prix is coming to town and cannot be missed. This is the largest karting street race in the whole of north America and drivers come from all over the world to compete right here in the QC.

Join Rock Island Milan Little League and the Village of Milan for the 2022 Milan Harvest Festival on Labor Day weekend, September 1-5, 2022. A fantastic festival for people of all ages. Bring your family and friends out to enjoy carnival rides, live music, a craft fair/farmer’s market, a disk golf tournament, and much more!

Funktastic Five- Kick off your Labor Day weekend at the Tangled Wood with a celebration of Funk! Funktastic 5 hits our stage so you can get your groove on. This weekend will be a BLAST!
