Dia de Los Muertos – November 2nd
The Dia de Los Muertos parade will be an unforgettable experience! This third annual parade is a celebration of Dia de Los Muertos, a Latin American cultural holiday that pays homage to their ancestors. The parade will be full of beautifully decorated floats, decorations, traditional dress, and other commemorations. There will also be a fiesta, of course! The fiesta will have food, drink, and dance for all to enjoy!
Festival of Trees – November 22nd– 27th & 29th – 30th
The Festival of Trees is a series of fun-filled events that will take place towards the end of this month. Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Festival of Trees Premiere Night , November 22nd, where music takes center stage and one-of-a-kind designer trees are unveiled. Enjoy the glamorous atmosphere with the Southern big band, The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra, as we kick off the holiday season with stunning visuals and award-winning live entertainment. This festival is where holiday magic comes alive with over 150 designer displays, exciting attractions, special events, and the largest helium balloon parade in the Midwest!
Lighting on the Commons – November 23rd
It’s never too early to get into the winter holiday spirit! Lighting on the Commons is a free annual community celebration of the holiday season. Join the celebration on Saturday, November 23rd, from 3:30 to 6:00 PM in downtown Moline for exciting attractions, including Santa Claus, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music, a children's craft area, and the beloved Lighting Ceremony followed by fireworks! There is also a live radio remote with Mark Manuel from Mix96, Your Christmas Station and a chance to win four tickets to the December 20th Trans-Siberian Orchestra show at Vibrant Arena at the MARK!
Vibrant Arena at The MARK Performances – All Month Long
This November, experience a variety of amazing performances at the one and only Vibrant Arena at the MARK. On November 16th see Little Big Town and Sugarland as they light up the arena with an unforgettable country performance! The same weekend, on November 17th watch TobyMac, Mercy Me, and Zach Williams as they each bring a unique blend of melodies and lyrics, celebrating faith and resilience through their powerful music.
ComedySportz – All Month Long
ComedySportz is a high-energy, all-ages improv comedy show that incorporates audience suggestions in a lively competition between a red team and a blue team. The teams vie for the most laughs, with no script or plan beforehand, ensuring an evening of continuous laughter for both the performers and the audience! The event takes place throughout the month of November at various times at The Spotlight Studio Theatre in Moline!
Everything is Fine Exhibition – All Month Long
This November join Quad City Arts as it presents a group show themed after the phrase, “It’s Fine. Everything is Fine.” Check out and purchase super cool art with different styles from a variety of artists! Admission is free and all dates and times are listed on our events page!
