Check out Lock and Dam 14 - located four miles South of LeClaire, IA, this set of Locks and Dam are fun to check out.

Hike Black Hawk State Park - Black Hawk State Historic Site located in Rock Island, IL has hiking trails along the Rock River and through the nature preserve.

Ride the Channel Cat - the Channel Cat Water Taxi is an open-air passenger ferryboat on the Mississippi with four stops in the Quad Cities.
See the sun set at Sunset Marina - in Rock Island, this spot is one of the best places to watch the sunset in the Quad Cities.
Splash at Schwiebert Park spray park - Schwiebert Riverfront Park in Rock Island, IL, offers a ton of fun including a water play area with fountains, small pools and a spray park.
Enjoy the fountain lights at Vander Veer - Stone Fountain at Vande Veer Botanical Park in Davenport, IA, offers “dancing, billowing Grand Allee water and changing lights.”
Spot birds at Nahant Marsh - 305-acres of preserve in southwest Davenport offers a lot of amazing wildlife interaction and tons of trails.
Fish at Illiniwek Forest Preserve - offers a variety of entertainment including campsites, trails, fishing and scenic views of the Mississippi River in Hampton, IL.
Tour gardens at the QC Botanical Center - adjacent to the Mississippi River in Rock Island, IL, it offers an indoor tropical atrium, outdoor gardens including a children's water feature, a garden train, a greenhouse, and more.
Picnic and play at McManus Park - located near the I-74 bridge and the River in Bettendorf, IA, this is one the best playgrounds in the Quad Cities.
Trail ride at Sunderbruch Park - miles of trails include a central paved multi-use trail, hiking, single-track mountain biking and equestrian trails. It's located in Davenoport, IA.
Golf at Saukie or TPC - Saukie Golf Course is located in Rock Island, IL. TPC Deere Run is a championship golf course used by the PGA Tour pros located in Silvis, IL.
Grab a coffee (or smoothie) at Cool Beanz - a locally owned coffee shop, this Quad Cities favorite is located in Rock Island, IL in the College Hill District.
Watch a movie at the Blue Grass Drive-In - this seasonal drive-in movie theatre with double features, digital screens and a concession stand is located in Blue Grass, IA.
Take a photo by a mural - there are dozens of murals throughout the Quad Cities. Drive around and you're sure to find them! Here are some favorites in Rock Island.
Taste Whitey’s Ice Cream - voted the “Best in the Midwest,” you will certainly want to try this local favorite for sundaes, shakes, malts and other tasty desserts. There are multiple locations in the Quad Cities.
Visit Niabi Zoo - located in Coal Valley, IL this public zoological park offers 40+ acres and more than 600 animals.
Walk/run up Brady Street hill - a highlight of the 7-mile annual Bix 7 race course, the Brady Street hill is one of the steepest hills on the bluffs of the Mississippi in the Quad Cities. Who wouldn't want to run up it??
