Peaceful Style Boutique

Enter a world of comfortable fashion and decor by visiting Peaceful Style Boutique in Bettendorf, Iowa. My friend and I were immediately engaged by the attractive displays of clothing and accessories that fill the shop. From fashionable and moderately priced clothing to home decor and accessories, Peaceful Style Boutique is a breath of fresh air to the Quad Cities lifestyle/clothing scene.
The peace symbol is the focal point of the interior design. The most unique design element is the iconic 1960's Volkswagen Bus front end that is part of a corner display area. Throughout the store various vignettes include vintage furniture, signage and decor items. The poetic use of texture and color enhance the shopping experience.
Co-owners Linda Mowbray and Chris Slavens were very personable and enthusiastic about their new business. Their blend of fashion merchandising education, buying experience and child care/preschool ownership supports this individualistic shop. They carry many lines that give back to charities. For example, Blue Planet Eyewear and Pure Vida bracelets donate a part of their profits to charities.
The shop has affordable and unusual items that are attractive to all ages. When we were shopping, we saw teenagers as well as older adults enjoying the displays of clothing and accessories. There is something for almost everyone at this boutique. I bought a soft sweater in a caramel color and I have worn it like a comfy sweatshirt with jeans and multiple necklaces.
Give peace a chance! Stop by Peaceful Style Boutique.
