The Axis Hotel

The Axis Hotel opened in the Fall of 2019 in downtown Moline, breathing new life into an old building. Located at 1630 5th Avenue, on the axis intersection, the boutique hotel is a new Heart of America business and a cool addition to the hip growth of the downtown area.

The Axis Hotel is also part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection, promising a lush experience with a unique and funky flair. The hotel is in the renovated Fifth Avenue/Sears Roebuck Building which was previously occupied by offices. It is now the only four-star hotel on the Illinois side of the Quad Cities.

The Bar

The building was originally built by a group of named The Syndicate, inspiring the name of the Fifth Avenue Syndicate Bar & Bistro in the hotel. It is a grand room that is not for guests only - locals are encouraged to stop in for a drink or plan to dine in for a meal.

They are open for breakfast from 6-10am, lunch at 11am and the restaurant is open until 10pm. They feature brunch on the weekends from 10am - 2pm. The food and cocktail menu are French-inspired, giving a nod to the 1920's era.

Lobby Seating

The Axis Hotel has 104 rooms, with 13 suites, and almost every one unique. Because of the original layout of the building, the rooms vary in shape, size, and layout, adding to the boutique feel of the place. There are old and new elements featured throughout, with beautiful original floors and old doors re-used in a new places.

Hotel Room

The Axis Hotel offers private event space as well. There are two different sized rooms that have floor to ceiling windows giving a very cool, downtown feel.

Banquet Room

The Axis Hotel also offers fitness and business centers as well as parking onsite. Every room offers plush robes and slippers, bottled water, a Keurig coffeemaker, and a mini fridge.

Hotel Bedroom
