392 Caffe Davenport

392 Caffe opened its second brick and mortar location in downtown Davenport at 502 W. 3rd Street. The original coffee shop is in Clinton, Iowa, and now they have a third location at 4750 Utica Ridge Road, Davenport. The coffee shop has a cult-like following.

392 is a very cool coffee shop with a small but delicious food menu. They feature a Toast Bar, where you pick a type of bread and toppings then enjoy. I was overwhelmed with what combination to pick, but the barista was very helpful with suggestions of delicious and popular combinations. I chose the seasonal feature bread, which was Brioche, then topped it with avocado, egg, bacon, and feta cheese. It was a fantastic recommendation and quite filling!

The coffee at 392 was phenomenal and beautiful. I encourage you to sit in and enjoy the presentation of the drinks they create. The ambiance is quite trendy with lounge couches, individual tables, and a long, communal table as well. It is a mostly black and white space with pops of green here and there.  There was a vibrancy about the place, as opposed to the usual, quiet coffee shops with jazz music playing. This was bustling with dance music in the background.

392 offers coffee beans by the pound with all the accoutrement one needs to brew at home. It is a great place to learn more about coffee and all the different ways one can consume it. I am excited to have a place in the Quad Cities that serves Cold Brew coffee on Nitro. The coffee is put on a draft system, like beer, and then infused with nitrogen, adding a soft and smooth mouth-feel experience.

392 Caffe is a great addition to downtown Davenport and the Quad Cities. It offers well-crafted beverages and other unique experiences bringing about some very fresh and new ideas for the community. Find them on Facebook
