Branching Out: The Art of WoodThe inherent beauty of wood—the grain patterns, cracks, variations in hue—serve as the source of inspiration for the artists showcased in this exhibition. This winter exhibition will explain a major art historical movement and investigates this often underappreciated medium through significant examples by its major practitioners. The works will be drawn from the Figge collection and made available to the public view for the first time. An accompanying video will show the artwork’s progression from forest to gallery and give visitors insight into the creative process behind it all. Museum Admissions Cost: $7.00 adults; $6.00 seniors (60 and older)/students with ID’s; $4.00 children ages 3-12; Free to members
